The Rotary Club of Guelph will be hosting this year’s Lobsterfest on Sept. 25  at the Italian Canadian Club.

Last year, Rotary held a drive-thru event for the first time which allowed guests to take home meals.

This year, Lobsterfest will see the drive-through format continue and includes a choice between a heat-at-home whole 1 1⁄4 lb lobster (with simple reheating instructions) or a full rack of ribs. Each meal comes complete with salads and tiramisu torte for dessert.

“We rely on events like Lobsterfest to help support the good work that Rotary does in our city. While we can’t wait to host Lobsterfest in-person again, we are pleased to offer a take-home option and are grateful for the continued support of the community as we navigate another fundraising event during the pandemic”, said president of the Rotary Club of Guelph, Mahmud Hassain.

Tickets for Lobsterfest can be purchased for $90 here. A $40 charitable tax receipt will be issued for tickets.  Those not interested in a meal may donate directly to the Rotary Club of Guelph through the Lobsterfest webpage via CanadaHelps.org.
