Due to the ongoing storm, Sparkles in the Park is cancelled for Friday night.
The Rotary Club of Guelph and supporters have been putting the light show on for over 24 years, but safety is the key and it was just to risky to bring people out on Friday, say organizers.
The event runs nightly from Dec. 17 through Dec. 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The carousel will be operating free of charge on the following dates:
- December 24, 25, 26, 30 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
- December 31 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Fireworks start at 8 p.m. on New Year's Eve.
