Teachers and education workers represented by the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation (OSSTF) will participate in one-day full withdrawal of services across Ontario Wednesday.

Only two Guelph French schools will participate in the one day strike — Elementary School Catholic Saint-René-Goupil (École élémentaire catholique Saint-René-Goupil) and École élémentaire L'Odyssée.

School members from the Upper Grand District School Board and the Wellington Catholic District School Board will not join members of the OSSTF holding information pickets in front of schools, at MPPs’ offices and various other locations across the province.

These actions come after the OSSTF and the province has not reached a deal even after a limited withdrawal of services began on Nov, 26 and continued on Dec.4 and Dec. 11.
