******************************
A free public series, We Are All Treaty People, will be held at Dublin Street United Church on Thursday evenings, Nov. 7, 14 and 21 at 7 p.m.

Nov. 7, in Treaty Recognition Week, will feature the KAIROS Blanket Exercise developed in collaboration with Indigenous Elders and knowledge keepers. The exercise offers a unique participatory lesson in Canada’s treaty history. The event will be facilitated by Laura-Lee Robertson, a Métis citizen, and Bruce Weaver, a Mohawk representative. Bring a blanket.

On Nov. 14, historian Alison Norman, Research Associate in the Frost Centre for Canadian Studies and Indigenous Studies at Trent University, will discuss the First Nation history of the Guelph area.

The Nov. 21 presenter will be Margaret Sault, an elder of Guelph’s treaty partner, Mississaugas of the Credit, and Director of their Lands, Research and Membership department. She will speak on the history of that nation and will lead a discussion on our joint responsibilities as treaty people of Between The Lakes Treaty 3.

Dublin Street United Church is at 68 Suffolk St. W. at the corner of Dublin Street (bus routes 3 and 11). Parking is at the rear, off Suffolk.

The series is sponsored by Dublin’s Justice and Outreach Committee.

Refreshments will be provided.
