The Guelph Community Singers is ready to welcome new members as it launches its next session, beginning early February.

Friday

OHL Hockey

Guelph Storm vs. Peterborough Petes

7:30 p.m., Sleeman Centre

Tragedy Ann

8 p.m., River Run Centre

A concert at the River Run Centre that blends outstanding vocal harmonies with accordion, guitar, ukulele, and the singing saw. The folk duo consisting of Liv Cazzola and Braeden Phelan creates music that calls for a deeper connection between individuals and the natural world. 

Saturday

9 a.m. Eramosa Trail Parkrun

The Eramosa River Trail Parkrun is a free weekly timed 5 k run, jog, or walk that takes place at Eramosa River Trail, just east of the covered wooden bridge near the Boathouse in Guelph. 

2 p.m. Winter Blues Day, Royal City Music

A free live music event featuring local bands Dirty Riffs, Bad Omen and Lucky Dog. Residents can catch the show at Royal City Music, starting at 2 p.m. 

7:30 p.m. Getting Our Feet Wet! Guelph Community Singers Concert

Tickets are available through Eventbrite for $15, plus service fee. Ticket can also be purchased at the door for $20.

2:30 p.m. Music Weekends Downtown Guelph

Sunday

10 a.m. Meditation for World Peace 

Avalokiteshvara Kadampa Buddhist Centre

The class includes a guided meditation followed by a teaching that explores one aspect of Buddha’s teachings with a focus on solutions to problems in daily life. Everyone is welcome. For more information, visit here.
