Snowfall warning in effect for:
  • Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
  • Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo

Snowfall with amounts near 15 cm expected today.

Snow, at times heavy, with total amounts near 15 cm expected by late this afternoon.

Southeasterly winds gusting to 50 km/h will whip up the freshly fallen snow resulting in low visibilities at times in blowing snow today.

The snow will taper off to a few showers or wet flurries late this afternoon or early this evening as temperatures edge above the zero degree mark.

Rapidly accumulating snow will make travel difficult. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.

Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to [email protected] or tweet reports using #ONStorm.
