Some former stars of the NHL are heading back to Guelph for a good cause.

The 30th annual Pro Hockey Heroes game happens at the Sleeman Centre on Saturday, Jan. 20, as the former pros take on a team of Guelph firefighters.

Among the names heading to Guelph include former Maple Leafs Nik Antropov, Dave McLlwain, and Gary Leeman. As well, Bernie Nicholls will be there, along with Zamboni driver turned Carolina emergency goaltender David Ayres.

Tickets are on sale online.

All proceeds will benefit the Firefighters Benevolent Foundation, a fund that looks to buy medical and emergency equipment for area hospitals.
