The Guelph Nighthawks return to the Sleeman Centre for the start of their second season on May 9.

This year the team has spread its 10 home dates around, playing four on Saturday, three on Friday, two on Thursday and a special school day morning game on a Tuesday.

The Nighthawks will take on the expansion Ottaw BlackJacks for the first time in Ottawa on May 21 as part of a home-and-home series which will see a return date at the Sleeman Centre on May 23.

The team will play a total of 20 games, 10 at home. The championship weekend will take place in Edmonton.

The Canadian Elite Basketball League has also announced a broadcast partnership with the CBC. Guelph will host two nationally televised games on CBC on June 6 and June 20, both at 4:00PM, against Edmonton and Hamilton respectively.

Guelph's regular season ends with a game in Fraser Valley, BC., on Aug. 6.

A new post-season format sees the team with the best regular season record join host Edmonton with automatic berths into the four-team Championship Weekend. The next four teams in the standings will play a single-game elimination quarter-final game to determine the final two teams which will advance to Championship Weekend.
