WINDSOR – Sub-par goaltending was the Guelph Storm's undoing in Windsor on Thursday night as they fell 6-3 to the Spitfires.

Overall the Storm turned in a pretty decent performance against Windsor, outshooting them 39-26 on the night. But Storm netminders Jacob Oster and Owen Bennett both had off nights between the pipes.

Oster started and was beaten by two of the first four shots he faced. He was quickly pulled 4:16 into the game. Bennett played the rest of the game, allowing four goals on 18 shots.

At the other end of the ice, Kyle Downey made 36 saves.

Guelph trailed 4-1 after one period and 5-2 after two.

Sasha Pasujov had two of the Guelph goals and Danny Zhilkin had the other. Two of the goals came on the power play.

Guelph hosts the Owen Sound Attack Friday night and the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Saturday night.
