PETERBOROUGH – Braeden Bowman had three points to lead the offence as the Guelph Storm snapped its seven-game losing streak with a 4-1 win in Peterborough Thursday night.

Bowman had a goal and two assists, with Parker Snelgrove picking up two assists.

Max Namestnikov opened the scoring with a power play goal early in the first then Charlie Paquette made it 2-0 before the first was over.

Peterborough narrowed the score with a power play goal by Martin Matejicek early in the second, a long wrist shot through a crowd that Storm goaltender Brayden Gillespie never saw.

Wil McFadden, playing in his hometown, made it 3-1 in the third before Bowman polished off the scoring with a late goal.

Guelph outshot the Petes 48-30.

The Storm hosts the Erie Otters Friday night then Sudbury visits for an afternoon game on Family Day.
