With an over-abundance of health defencemen expected in the next few weeks, the Guelph Storm has traded defenceman Zack Sandhu to the Oshawa Generals.

In return the Storm received a third round pick (Mississauga) in 2025, a fifth round pick (Oshawa) in 2026, and a ninth round pick (Oshawa) in the 2027 OHL draft.

Sandhu, a native of Toronto, was drafted by the Storm in the seventh round, 122nd overall, in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection and has spent the past three seasons with the organization.

The OHL trade deadline is today at noon.
