Ouch! Guelph Storm blown out in Sarnia

SARNIA – Nolan Burke scored four goals and Sasha Pastujov had three points against his former team as the Sarnia Sting hammered the Giuelph Storm 9-1 Wednesday night.

Sarnia scored three times in each period.

It is the second time Guelph has allowed nine goals this season. They also allowed 10 on one occasion.

Guelph's lone goal came from Max Namestnikov in the third period.

Patrick Leaver started in net for Guelph and was pulled after the first period in favour of Brayden Gillespie as the Storm was outshot 37-30 on the night.

Sarnia scored twice on the power play and once shorthanded.

The Storm's Chandler Romeo missed on a penalty shot in the second period.

The Storm will host the Saginaw Spirit Friday night.
