TORONTO – After rain dampened the momentum for the Guelph Royals last night, the league has made the call to resume Game 1 of the team's first round IBL series in Toronto Sunday afternoon at 12 p.m.
The team has confirmed the opening contest will begin where it left off Thursday, a 2-0 Royals lead in the bottom of the fifth inning at Christie Pits.
Game 3 will take place 30 minutes after the completion of Game 1 Sunday.
As for Game 2, it is still scheduled to take place in Guelph Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
The rest of the schedule for the best-of-five series stays the same.
