SARNIA – The Guelph Storm scored three times on the power play Friday night as they snapped a four-game losing streak with a 5-1 road win over the Sarnia Sting.

Five different players scored for Guelph, with Valentin Zhugin, Brayden Guy, Cam Allen, Charlie Paquette and Danny Zhilkin all scoring for Guelph.

Sasha Pastujov assisted on three of the Storm goals and Michael Buchinger had a pair of helpers.

The game was tied 1-1 after one period and Guelph scored two unanswered tallies in each of the final two periods.

Guy returned to the Storm lineup after missing a week with an injury, but defenceman Ashton Reesor is out indefinitely after breaking his jaw last week in Owen Sound.

Jacob Oster made 18 saves in the Guelph net.

The Storm plays in Erie on Saturday night then hosts Sarnia on Monday night.
