ERIE, PA. – The Guelph Storm will be looking to snap a three-game losing skid Sunday night when they host the London Knights.

Guelph fell 3-0 Saturday night to the Erie Otters in Erie.

With 10 games to go in the regular season, the Storm sits in sixth place in the Western Conference standings. If the playoffs were to start today they would meet the Flint Firebirds in the opening round.

They are eight points back of the fourth place Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds for the final home ice playoff spot for the first round.

Saturday, the Otters scored twice in the second period, one of them on a penalty shot while shorthanded, to take a 2-0 lead after two periods.

They went up 3-0 before Sasha Pastujov got Guelph on the board with a power play goal late in the game.

Guelph had a chance late, with a four-minute power play, but couldn't score.

Erie iced the game with an empty net goal.

Owen Bennett made 17 saves in the Guelph net.

Game time Sunday against London is 7 p.m.
