The Toronto Argonauts will return to the University of Guelph for their 2023 training camp.

Included will be a pre-season game against Ottawa on June 1.

“We love it at the University of Guelph” said Argos coach Ryan Dinwiddie in a news release. “The facilities, the accommodations, the food, the hospitality from staff is as professional as any place I’ve been. We are thrilled to be back for camp this year, as well as hosting our preseason game against Ottawa at Alumni Stadium”

The Argos are no strangers to campus life at the University of Guelph having held training camp on the Gryphon’s campus in 2022, 2021 and 2016 as well as numerous times throughout the 1980’s and 1990’s, while also playing a preseason game at Alumni Stadium in 2018.

Rookie Camp kicks off May 10th with a three-day camp that includes veteran quarterbacks and first-year CFL players before rosters are cut down to 85 on May 13. First practice with veterans goes May 14.

The public can attend practice, although some practices may be closed to the public and that information will be shared at least a day in advance each time, the team said.

General sale for the pre-season game go on sale April 24 here.
