SHERBROOKE, Que. — Joshua Roy scored his 34th goal of the season and added an assist as the Sherbrooke Phœnix defeated the visiting Charlottetown Islanders 7-2 in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action on Friday night.

Ethan Gauthier, Israel Mianscum, David Spacek, Joe Fleming, Jacob Melanson and Andrew Belchamber also scored for the Western Conference-leading Phoenix (41-12-3-2), who led 2-1 after the first period and 3-2 heading into the third.

Ross Campbell and Giovanni Morneau scored for the Islanders (24-28-5-1), who were outshot 42-15.
