Arrest made in north end break-in

A Guelph man was arrested Tuesday in connection with a break-in at a north end business, police report.

Police were called to the business on Woodlawn Road East Jan. 4 after staff arrived for work and found footprints inside. Video surveillance revealed a man entering the business approximately 11:25 p.m. the prior evening after prying open an exterior door. He removed an undisclosed amount of cash from a drawer and food from an employee fridge and left the business a few minutes later.

A 40-year-old man was arrested Tuesday afternoon in Downtown Guelph and charged  with break and enter.
