Break-in at commercial compound

Crowbar was used to gain entry, doing $850 damage

Guelph police are investigating after a male broke into a fenced compound at a local business Wednesday morning.

Between 4 a.m. and 5 a.m. Wednesday, the unknown male entered the compound and used a crowbar to force his way into two outbuildings, causing approximately $850 in damage. A computer monitor was stolen.

The male is described as white and wearing denim shorts, a baseball cap and a black backpack. He was riding a BMX-style bike and was last observed riding on Dawson Road toward Willow Road.
