Car slams into pickup truck, driver flees on foot

Police believe the suspect in this hit and run sustained injuries

On Nov. 28, 2018 at approximately 11:50 p.m, Guelph Police were called to Stevenson Street North where there was a report of a hit and run.

Investigation revealed a Ford Focus was travelling northbound on Stevenson Street in the area of Emma Street at a high rate of speed. This vehicle suddenly veered left and slammed into a pickup truck that was parked in a private driveway. There was extensive damage to the Ford Focus.

The driver of the Ford was spoken to by witnesses and suddenly fled on foot. The driver was last seen running westbound on Emma Street. The driver is described as a white male, 20-30-years-old with a slim build. Police are confident that the driver of the Ford Focus has been injured.
