Collision results in impaired driving charge for Guelph man

On June 28, 2019 at approximately 6 p.m., Guelph police were called about a collision on Clair Road West. Upon arrival, police spoke to one of the drivers involved and eventually demanded a roadside test. The driver failed and was arrested for impaired operation – 80 or above. The driver was further charged under the Highway Traffic Act relative to the collision.

There were no injuries as a result of the collision and damage was moderate.

The 55-year-old Guelph male was given a July 12, 2019 court date.
