Update: Police re-opened the road at about 9:30 a.m.
Police are asking drivers to avoid a stretch of Victoria Road on Tuesday morning, after a car collided with a light standard.
The road was closed between Elizabeth Street and Grange Road.
There are no reports of injury, police said in a 7:45 a.m. Tweet.
