CRIME OF THE WEEK: Thieves steal steel beams worth thousands

Sometime between the dates of Dec. 25 and Jan. 10, a theft occurred from a business located near Hanlon Creek Boulevard and Laird Road in Guelph. 

Stolen was a quantity of steel beams that had been stored outside. The beams have an estimated value of $40,000 to $60,000. 

It is believed that due to the size and weight of the beams, a transport truck would have been required to move them.
