A Guelph male had his vehicle and driver’s licence both seized for seven days Wednesday after intentionally cutting off another motorist, say Guelph police.

Approximately 6:30 p.m. a motorist was turning left from Gordon Street onto Harvard Road when another driver became upset about how long he was taking. Once they had completed the turn, the second motor vehicle sped in front of the complainant and slammed on his brakes, causing the complainant to swerve to avoid a collision.

The second vehicle passed a second time further down Harvard Road and repeated the dangerous maneuver. All of this was captured on the complainant’s dash camera, which was turned over to police.

A 46-year-old Guelph male was charged with stunt driving. His vehicle and licence were seized for seven days.
