A Brampton woman was taken off the road Monday night after she was caught driving well in excess of twice the speed limit in Guelph.
Just after 6 p.m. police were conducting radar on Maltby Road West. They clocked a 2021 Mercedes travelling 136 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
A 20-year-old woman was charged with speeding, stunt driving and failing to surrender her licence.
Her licence was immediately suspended for 30 days and her vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
A conviction for stunt driving will lead to a minimum one-year licence suspension, $2,000 fine and six demerit points.
