A Guelph man faces several charges after climbing onto the roof of a home early Friday morning, Guelph police report.
Just after midnight, police were called to Elizabeth Street near Huron Street for a report of a male on the caller’s roof. As officers arrived on scene, they saw a male climbing off the roof and jumping over a fence. He was arrested.
During a search incident to arrest, officers located small amount of suspected crack cocaine.
A 29-year-old man is charged with trespass by night, two counts of possessing a controlled substance, breach of probation and failing to comply with a release order. He was held for a bail hearing Friday.
