Guelph police are investigating a report of an elderly man being shot with pellets from a passing car Thursday evening.
A man in his 70s reported he was walking on Paisley Road near Elmira Road South approximately 7:20 p.m. As a black Honda Civic passed, a male fired several pellets which struck the victim in the face. The victim was not injured.
The vehicle was last seen speeding eastbound on Paisley Road towards the Hanlon Expressway. The occupants were described as two young, possibly Indian males.
