On the evening of July 25, 2019, an employee from a business on the west end of the city contacted police about concerns of a possible impaired driver. Soon after, police located the driver a short distance away, and he was subsequently arrested.
A 54-year-old Guelph male has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and drive with over 80mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood.
He will appear in court on Sept. 3.
