At noon, police were called to a two-vehicle collision on Willow Road at Alma Street which knocked down hydro wires. Investigation revealed a van and car collided, causing the car to veer off the road and strike a hydro pole.

About 2:15 p.m., police were called to a collision at Speedvale Avenue East and Renfield Street, where two vehicles were heavily damaged after colliding in the intersection. No injuries were reported. A 68-year-old female was charged with making an improper turn.

Approximately one hour after that collision, police were called to a business on Imperial Road North near Woodlawn Road West. A delivery truck had struck a canopy attached to the building, causing more than $2,000 in damage to the canopy and minor damage to the truck. No injuries were reported and no charges were laid.
