On Sept. 5, 2019 at 2:14 a.m., Guelph Police had been conducting speed enforcement on Victoria Road North between Eastview Road and Cassino Avenue when a Tesla driven by a 22-year-old Guelph man was clocked at 105 km/hr in the 50 km/hr zone.
The G2 driver was charged under the Highway Traffic Act with Stunt driving – excessive speed as well as speeding. He received a 7 day driver’s licence suspension and the motor vehicle was impounded for 7 days.
