Guelph police hosting info session for commercial truck operators

The Guelph Police Service Traffic Unit will host an information session later this month for commercial truck operators.

Topics to be covered will include Commercial Vehicle Operator’s Registration (CVOR) requirements, weights, regulations and load security. If you operate a commercial vehicle in Ontario you must have a valid CVOR certificate. This applies to trucks with a gross weight or registered gross weight of more than 4,500 kg, concrete pumps, mobile cranes and tow trucks.

The information session will be held April 21, 7:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Guelph Police Service headquarters at 15 Wyndham Street South. Anyone planning to attend the information session is asked to RSVP to Constable Tim Paneghel at [email protected].
