Guelph police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a motorcycle observed driving recklessly on two occasions.

At approximately 5:15 pm on Friday, a motorcycle was observed travelling at very high speeds, riding between lanes of traffic and failing to obey traffic signals on Stone Road West between Gordon Street and the Hanlon Expressway. The motorcycle is believed to be one already under investigation by police for reckless driving behaviour and putting public safety at risk.

The motorcycle is an older model sport bike that appears to have been repainted black and is without manufacturer decals. The plastic windshield on the motorcycle is missing. There is no licence plate on the rear licence plate mounting bars. The driver of the motorcycle is male, average build, wearing all black clothing including a black helmet, jacket and jeans. The operator wears solid red running shoes.

If any member of the public can assist with locating the motorcycle (whether being driven or parked) or identifying the driver, or if a member of the public has dashcam of the incident on Stone Road West, please contact the Guelph Police Service Traffic Supervisor at (519) 824-1212, ext. 7225.
