Guelph woman faces break and enter, drug charges

Officers found a small quantity of crystal methamphetamine during her arrest

On Dec. 9, 2019 at 4:40 p.m., a resident observed an unknown adult female in the backyard shed of his residence located near the intersection of Paisley Road and Imperial Road South in the City of Guelph. The resident confronted her and noticed she had taken a pickaxe from the shed. The resident told her to give it back, she obliged and left the property. Police attended the scene and searched the area, but could not locate the female.

At 7:38 p.m., police responded to a call for service at a business located near that same intersection in regards to an unwanted female who refused to leave. Police attended the scene and observed that the female was holding a methamphetamine pipe and also matched the description from earlier. She was then arrested. A search incident to arrest revealed a small quantity of crystal methamphetamine.

A 32-year-old Guelph female has been charged with:
    •    Break, enter, and commit
    •    Possession of schedule I substance
    •    Breach probation x4

She was in held in custody for a bail hearing taking place on Dec. 10, 2019.
