On May 21, 2021, at approximately 10:30 a.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with Mapleton Fire/Rescue and Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services responded to a single motor vehicle rollover on Highway 6 near Side Road 19 in the Township of Mapleton.
It was reported that a straight truck loaded with granular fertilizer left the roadway and rolled over.
The driver and lone occupant was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Highway 6 between Wellington Road 17 and Wellington Road 109 is temporarily closed for clean-up. Follow @OPP_WR for road closure updates.
