Homeowner interrupts break-in, finds home ransacked

ERIN - On Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at approximately 12:30 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of break-in at residence located on Sideroad 5 in Erin.

A homeowner arrived at the property to find two suspects with a vehicle in the driveway. A side door of the residence had been forced open. The home was ransacked and a number of items were stolen including, electronics, a flat screen television, a safe, and a quantity of jewelry.

The two suspects were described as white males. One of the suspects had dark hair and a stocky build. They were last observed leaving eastbound on Sideroad 5 in a grey Ford Escape with no front plate. The rear plate is possibly from out-of-Province.
