Two motor vehicles were stolen early Monday after a Guelph business was broken into for the second time in three days.

Just before 6 a.m. Monday, an employee of a business in the area of Edinburgh Road North and Paisley Street called to report the break and enter. Surveillance revealed two people attended the business in an SUV approximately 3:20 a.m. and smashed a window to gain entry.

A small amount of cash, a laptop and keys to several vehicles were stolen from the business. The suspects fled with one of the stolen vehicles, then came back a short time later and stole a second vehicle.

Last Friday, another vehicle was stolen during an early-morning break and enter at the same business. That vehicle was recovered later Friday and a 30-year-old Guelph male was arrested on several charges.

The stolen SUV in which the suspects arrived Monday has since been recovered, but the two vehicles stolen from the business are still outstanding.

Anyone with information about the Monday incident is asked to call Constable Chris Cheung at 519-824-1212, ext. 7435, email him at [email protected], leave an anonymous message for Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or leave an anonymous tip online at www.csgw.tips.
