Guelph Police are investigating the report of a man being robbed at gunpoint on Wednesday.
Police report that shortly after midnight the alleged victim was inside his motor vehicle near the intersection of Edinburgh Road South and Water Street when two adult males brandishing firearms robbed him of a small quantity of money.
The victim was able to escape on foot and the two robbers fled the area in the vehicle, say police.
The unoccupied vehicle was found a short time later near the intersection of Inverness Drive and Woodlawn Road East.
