UPDATE 3 p.m.: OPP have identified the deceased as a 58-year-old Guelph man. No name was released.

A pedestrian was killed late Thursday night after being hit by a pickup truck.
The incident happened around 11:30 p.m. at the intersection of Woodlawn Road and the Hanlon Expressway.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Hanlon from Speedvale Avenue to Woodlawn Road was closed overnight and through the early morning as Wellington County OPP investigated the scene but was fully reopened by 8:30 a.m.
The name of the victim has not been released.
