Police investigate after woman offered money by man driving van

On Oct. 7, 2020, an adult female was walking near the intersection of Palmer Street and Lane Street in the City of Guelph when she was approached by an adult male driving a yellow van. The male asked her if she wanted money, then offered her $200. When she declined, the male drove away. The Guelph Police Service was then contacted for assistance.

Police searched the area but were unable to locate the male.

He is described as:
    •    40 years old
    •    East Indian
    •    Slight accent
