Police looking for missing woman (update: found safe)

Update: Guelph police posted on social media at about 12:50 p.m. that the woman was found and is safe.

Police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing woman last seen in the city’s south end.

In a social media post made shortly before noon on Wednesday, police said they’re looking for the woman, a 46-year-old white woman with a medium to heavy build and medium length, dark red hair.

She may be wearing a puffy jacket.

"We are concerned for her wellbeing," commented Guelph police spokesperson Scott Tracey. "We would like to locate her as soon as possible."

Lisa was last known to be in the area of Poppy Drive and Gordon Street shortly after 7 a.m.

Anyone with information about the woman's whereabouts is asked to call Guelph Police Service at 519-824-1212.
