Police seek thieves who tried to rob a cashless bank

The incident took place Jan. 10 at a bank in the south end of Guelph

At approximately 9:45 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, an attempted robbery took place at a bank located in the south end of Guelph.

Two persons described as wearing dark clothing, masks and gloves entered the bank and demanded to be let into the vault.

After learning from staff that this site was a cashless bank, the culprits fled. They were last seen driving a newer model white, 4-door Honda Civic Hatchback.
