A 51-year-old Guelph man was arrested for impaired driving after witnesses reported a vehicle being driven erratically Saturday evening near Victoria Road South and Decorso Drive, report Guelph police.
Officers arrived shortly after 6 p.m. and observed a vehicle approximately 15 metres off the road against a tree with considerable damage. The driver was arrested and transported to the police station where testing confirmed he had more than the legal amount of alcohol in his system.
His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
