Six people face charges after Guelph police seized drugs, weapons including a handgun and stolen property early Wednesday morning.
The Break Enter Auto Theft Unit began conducting surveillance on several individuals in mid-July, believing them to be involved in drug trafficking and property crimes.
Just after 4 a.m. Wednesday police executed search warrants at a home just north of the city.
During the search, officers recovered more than 100 grams of suspected fentanyl, 56 grams of suspected cocaine and more than 500 Oxycocet pills with a total combined street value of more than $20,000.
Also seized were several weapons including a silver revolver-style handgun, two replica firearms, brass knuckles, a butterfly knife and a cane with concealed sword as well as stolen property including a 2014 motorcycle, bicycle, tools and cosmetic products.
Four women and two men, all from Guelph and ranging in age from 29 to 71, face dozens of drug, weapons and property charges. Three have been held for bail hearings and three have been released with October court dates.
The investigation is ongoing.
