Guelph police are investigating two break and enters over the weekend in which windows were smashed to gain entry.

On Friday, just before 11 p.m., officers were dispatched to a business in the area of Gordon Street and Lowes Road West. On arrival they located a smashed window.

Video surveillance revealed three males arriving in a red GMC pickup with the licence plate covered. One used a tool to break the window while the other two entered the business and stole the cash register and some product.

All three suspects are described as white males. One was wearing a red and black plaid jacket, black baseball cap and a red bandana over his face. The second was wearing a navy blue hoodie and black balaclava. The third was shorter than the first two and wearing a black jacket with grey sleeves, black baseball cap and a mask.

Approximately 4 a.m. Sunday, police were called for a reported break and enter at a business on Watson Road South near York Road, and again arrived to find a glass door smashed out. A computer was reported to be stolen.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at 519-824-1212.
