Guelph police are investigating after a vehicle stolen from another jurisdiction was recovered in Downtown Guelph.

On Thursday, a message was received from another police service regarding a white 2015 GMC Sierra which had twice been ticketed for parking offences by City of Guelph Bylaw Compliance officials. At the time the tickets were issued the pickup had not yet been reported stolen.

On Thursday morning police attended a parking lot in the area of Carden Street and Macdonell Street where the truck was located and seized. Surveillance video showed two males and a female exit the vehicle at approximately 8:45 a.m. Thursday.
