TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On Monday June 3, 2019 at approximately 11:15 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a suspected impaired driver on Tower Street South in Fergus.
Police attended and located the vehicle and driver at a gas station. While speaking with the driver, police formed the opinion that they were impaired by drugs. They were arrested and transported to a local OPP Detachment for further testing.
Forty-three-year-old Coreena Fuller of Township of Wellington North has been charged with Driving while Impaired by Drug contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 9, 2019.
If you suspect someone is driving while their ability to operate a motor vehicle is impaired, either by drug or alcohol, you can call police at 911 to report it.
