Teen struck by vehicle making a turn, driver sought

Youth sustained minor injuries, sought medical attention later in the day

A Guelph teen sustained minor injuries when they were hit by a vehicle making a turn on Monday afternoon. Police are asking witnesses to come forward.

A 16-year-old was walking home at about 3:30 p.m. when he was struck at the intersection of College Avenue West and the Hanlon Expressway. In a news release, Guelph Police said the driver stopped briefly to check on the teen, then continued on their way.

The youth sought medical attention later in the day.
