A Guelph woman is the latest to be arrested in connection with an armed robbery in September.

According to police, five suspects with knives forced their way into an apartment just after midnight on Sept. 3 in search of a male they believed to be hiding in the building. The suspects reportedly fled after being told police had been called.

As a result of the ongoing investigation, a 31-year-old Guelph woman was arrested on Monday and charged with break-and-enter with intent to commit an indictable offence.

Previously, a 41-year-old Guelph man and a 31-year-old Kitchener woman were arrested and charged with the same offences.
