Guelph police have made two more arrests in connection to a stabbing at the Bullfrog Plaza last week.
Approximately 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 15 police were called for a report of a disturbance involving a stabbing outside a business in the plaza, located on Eramosa Road near Meyer Drive. Two male youths were transported to hospital for treatment of injuries and have since been released.
An 18-year-old Guelph male was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with assault causing bodily harm and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose. He remains in custody with a bail hearing scheduled for Thursday.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, two male youths have also since been arrested. A 16-year-old Guelph male is charged with assault with a weapon and assault and will also appear in bail court Thursday. A second 16-year-old Guelph male is charged with assault causing bodily harm and possessing a weapon for a dangerous purpose and will appear in a Guelph court April 5.
The investigation is ongoing.
