Guelph police are investigating after tools and other equipment were stolen from a home under renovation.
Police were called Wednesday morning to a home near Woodlawn Road and Victoria Road. The owner advised he left the previous night at approximately 8 p.m. and came back in the morning to find the front and side doors insecure.
A doorknob was broken off the front door and a lock box was found pried open with the key missing. Minor damage was also done to the interior of the home. A large toolbox containing tools, a Google Nest device and other property was reported missing.
The investigation continues.
